Here's a
video clip of Christmas Isn't Complete from
the Composition Recital on Monday, Nov. 6. James Slaviero
originally wrote this piece for his
acapella quartet Altered Harmony and the first time
I heard them sing it - at James' recital last Fall - I knew
I wanted to
sing
it.
So this semester
James gave me the music and I wrote a piano arrangement to
accompany solo voice. The arrangement below was 'finished'
on noon of Nov. 6th and I swapped Morgan's - my incredibly
skilled accompanist's - half complete version for the finished
one. ! We sang through it a couple
times and then, well, here it is.
Christmas
Isn't Complete
Since it's
not quite complete yet - there's a password. But once we have
the finished version (with a video where I'm not standing in
the far left of the screen, because I was also running video
and so obviously couldn't be moving the camer at the same time...)
then you'll catch it in a journal post.
